About Me
Firstly, my name is Jentry Nielsen. My passion for photography began at a young age. My father was a truck driver and I used to ride with him across the US during the summers. We always had a couple disposable cameras with us, to capture the memories and scenery along the way. As I grew, smart phones became a thing, and I found myself in the back yard a lot in Northern Michigan, taking pictures of whatever I could find. When I graduated high school, my parents got me a small digital camera as a gift. When I turned 19, I made the extremely random and brave decision to move across the country by myself. I wound up in Utah, where immediately, photography became more involved in my life, as I was so overwhelmed with the scenery, I never stopped taking pictures with my camera! It wasn't long before I found myself purchasing my first DSLR and the rest all snowballed from there into what it is now. What began as landscape/scenery photography, quickly grew into booking sessions with people, which has gifted me with some incredible opportunities. I am 26 now and am loving this journey more and more everyday.
If you book with me, you really are getting a photographer who is passionate about her work. If you book with me, you're supporting my inner 7 year old self that was destined to be a photographer but just didn't know it yet. If you book with me, you're working with someone who has taken everything in life head-on and doesn't settle for less. But most importantly, if you book with me, you're getting quality pictures/moments captured that you can look back on for the rest of your life, and it would be an HONOR to be the hands that provide that for you.
